Patrick is a Bullskin Township native. His work ethic was formed young, as he grew up working along side his Father on the family farm. Patrick is a graduate of Geibel Catholic High School, Thiel College and Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He graduated with a BA in Business Administration and a degree in Mortuary Science.
After graduation Patrick began working with Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., under the wing of Dick Thomas. Patrick moved to McDonald, North Fayette Township in 1995, where he still resides. He and his wife, Kristen (DeCooman) Konieczny have been married since 1996 and raised their two daughters together, Mya and Allie. In 2006, Patrick and Kristen bought all four Thomas-Little Funeral Service locations. Together Patrick and Kristen love to travel, entertain and spend time with their kids, dogs and cat.

Mya is a licensed funeral director and also Patrick's oldest daughter. Mya was raised in McDonald along with her sister and is a 2017 graduate of West Allegheny School District. After high school Mya went on to attend Gannon University (2021) and the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science (2021). Since graduating, she and Patrick have been working hand in hand to better serve families in need.
Mya is a memeber of St. Isidore the Farmer Parish - St. Alphonsus Church. She is also a member of the Allegheny County Funeral Directors Association, where she serves as secretary.
In her free time Mya enjoys golfing and cooking for her family. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, Cody Garrett and their dog. Mya lives in McDonald with her husband and dog, Gus. Who also works at the funeral homes as a grief and emotional support dog.
Phyllis Pensak Nagy is the Preneed Counselor for all of the funeral homes. Phyllis is a graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and received her insurance license in 2002. Phyllis is a member of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church. She is currently the President of the Christian Mothers Association.
Kate Cheman is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. She has had memberships with the Southwest Funeral Directors Association and with the Allegheny County Funeral Directors Association. She is also a past member of the Oakmont Rotary. Kate currently lives in the Mon Valley.
Jim is a graduate of Point Park College and the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He is also a Past President of the Allegheny County Funeral Directors Association. He and his wife live in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh and have two children Mia and Nathan.
Marc is one of our licensed funeral directors, he is a graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and The University of Pittsburgh. He is a member of the Southwest Funeral Directors Association and enjoys watching and playing football in his free time. Marc resides in Washington, Pa with his wife Kylie and their daughter, Monroe.
Gus is our certified emotional support dog. Gus and Mya spent almost two years in training with their specalized trainer. Gus loves working with all the staff at the funeral home and meeting new families at all the funeral homes. When Gus is off the clock, he enjoyes relaxing at home with his owners, Mya and Cody. He also loves to play with all his squeaky toys and sneak any human food he can!
The funeral homes are also staffed by ten unlicensed personnel. They are Rose Hribar (Secretary), Jennifer Jobkar (Secretary), Gary Haberland, Patricia Fedinetz, Joe Klick, Bill Hartman, Paul Neal, Sam Colega, Vic Davidson and Jim Hopper.
This support staff assists with many everyday items of business which help to keep this family owned business running efficiently.
